Dear One,
Listen to a story.
An old Zen Master was living in a crowded street by the local bazaar. The street was perennially filled with day to day clatter. Dogs barking, vendors shouting, people arguing, children frolicking and all other imaginable noises could be heard.
A disciple who once visited the Master, got so caught up by the commotion outside that he blurted out, "Master, How do you live in such a noise filled place, without getting distracted?
The Master smiled and said, "I simply listen to the noises inside and the outside din fades away."
This is the essence of Zen. When you begin to hear your inner clamor, all external noises fade away. The minute your inner clamor comes to a naught, you shall attain Nirvana - The Endless Silence.
